I want that f'n cardboard sleeve that GoT and Ys came in.
I don't collect any boxes or cardboard, but I do want that thing.

I think they sell tubs of margarine or cream cheese in a package like that at Costco...

Glade to see he doesn't take it to the flea market. As it is so rare and expensive.

It's also up on Ebay.  He also sold the box by itself for like $270

Yep, looks like the same seller.  I posted the following last week...

Looks like this seller split up a nice CIB Turbo Duo system by selling the system, Gate of Thunder and the box/packaging in separate auctions to maximize profit...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Duo-Super-CD-Console-Box-w-Manual-Inserts-Only-No-Console-Included-/221538774399

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEC-Turbo-Duo-Super-CD-Hucard-System-Fully-Recapped-Works-Great-/321508851738

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-in-1-Turbo-Duo-Gate-of-Thunder-Bonks-Adventure-Revenge-Complete-Near-Mint-/221536271422

I can't stand when sellers do that.

It is fine to sell parts off if that is all you have. It can even help some complete a game that was missing the manual or what have you. But to cut up in parts an item to maximize profit just makes me want to turn the moon into a giant fist and punch a hole in the earth.

Is this one of you guys?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Creatures-New-Sealed-TurboGrafx-16-1992-/141395323608?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item20ebd16ad8#ht_606wt_1365

This might be the third round of bidding on some of these items and they still haven't sold due to the reserves being set too high.  Dead Moon, Night Creatures, Ordyne and others.  People will just stop bidding on your stuff if you don't remove those reserves or get more realistic, it's discouraging to bidders.

This guy is out of his mind with the prices he wants for his games. When I contacted him he wanted $300 for deadmoon!. He wanted like $100 for yo bro not sealed! The reason his games are not selling is his reserves are way up in the sky....
Titles to complete... Caught them all....

It's a lot of fun if you can appreciate a game like that. The challenge is very rewarding and even at its worst, it's no worse than too many "legendary" NES games that are worshiped to this day.

Yeah, i agree. I think a lot of people expected a TG castlevania or something. But it has its own pace, and is actually pretty creative.
