...Jersey Girl? Zack and Miri? Zack and Miri in particular felt to me like a guy tried to recapture something he lost in his youth but couldn't quite remember what it was that he lost.

Yesterday night I started to watch Tusk, it was promising
I didn't think Jersey Girl was horrible...but it was his most "mainstream" movie (in terms of writing, he didn't stray too far), I reckon.
I am not the biggest fan of his POST-Chasing Amy films...they are really inconsistent.
I am glad a guy from Jersey has had some success and is able to voice his "voice" (at least, for some films). But he hasn't won my heart for 17+ years?

I love the *concept* of Dogma, but the execution was incredibly rough/inconsistent.
