get your "100% BRAND NEW VERY RAER Turbo Grafx 16 System Keeper officially licensed" for only $399.00...and the shipping is just 15$!

Well, this just confirms what I suspected a long time ago (and may have posted about many pages back) and that is that this same guy has multiple accounts and uses them to manipulate prices....

He used a different account, "raregamesystem" to buy one of those system keepers from me a couple years ago...

Pretty much.  It is like a little back pack for your TG16.

So, I've never seen this item before.

If I was a scumbag, it would be very easy to fabricate unusual items like this.

Lost Monkey, when/where did you get your "Keeper"?

You know, I found this auction last night but was too tired to post it.

Nice of him to show that he has about 10 of them.

I know. It's shitty either way but showing all of them  just makes it

Is this relevant? I wonder if this is the bubble, and if someday this will burst?

Good question! I don't remember... Bought it around the turn of the century though... It may have been from a Turbolist member.

It was authentic gear though - however ugly.

From another thread:

The TG16 System Keeper bag.

Have the old gold and silver age books lost value since the great crash? I don't follow comics but if they have its possible that something similar could happen in the video game genre but I doubt it

I think their are some parallels, such as people buying Amiibo's or special edition 3ds' just to hold and possibly flip.  But I think that, just like the "actually rare" comics, the "actually rare" games will continue to hold their value.

Exactly. I should clarify:

I can buy some garbage and slap TG-16 logos and tags on it. Flashlights! Clocks! Waterpicks! Irrigation machines for cleaning ear canals.
