I was just going to mention the GB Bonk. While I can't speak for the NES Bonk, the GB version has nice visuals and control but the game just doesn't click with me. Kinda like Bonk 3. Just play Adventure and Revenge over and over. They never get old.

I agree. Adventure and Revenge (and even Super Bonk on the SNES/SFC) are the titles to play.

As a long time owner and player of the game, I can speak for the NES Bonk. And the TG/PCE versions are superior in every aspect IMO. The NES version is a decent play, but compared to the 16-bit offerings, it's far short on quality.
My past-life would've surely led to our demise, and I had left it not a moment too soon. Our escape, though dangerous, had gone well. The train ride, sunlight, and passing snow-covered pine trees came together in a flickering show of our bright, new future together. Her head rested on my shoulder as she soundly slept to the gentle rocking of the passenger car. We felt freedom. We felt peace.

I don't have the NES bonk and honestly I don't want it. Not for the prices it typically goes for. Mainly because of I wanted a fun good looking bonk game to play I would play what I first played as a kid when visiting my cousins house in Dallas TX all so many years ago. The original TG-16 version.

Now if a NES copy fell in my lap for $20 bucks sure but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend a lot on it

Bonk NES shows how easily people can be fooled by a player sprite, even if it doesn't move properly.
exactly!!!! my biggest issue with NES, snes and GB Bonks. They don't move right. The cohesiveness of adventure and revenge is what defines Bonk games. It's those 2 games that make the series. Don't get me wrong I like the nes, snes, and GB versions, I just don't love them like TG versions.

Well you know that Pat Contri just made the statement that NES Bonk looks as good as the TG16 version...

Please tell me you're kidding.

Sorry... [emoji30]

Best Graphics on the NES, SNES and Genesis - #CUP…:

They are dead on with Recca for NES, i play that almost on the daily. Sometimes i just listen to the sound track on it as well. Got a really nice repo cart at a convention for ntsc nes. Well worth it!

I just looked up NES Bonk's Adventure.

Pat... is right. Looks pretty darn good, like the original with a lower color palette.

Really? Is that game worth 200$? I've heard such bad things. I have tailspin, and think it's terrible, and hear this is worse.. Collectibles amaze me sometimes

^ lol seller has only 10 feedback. As of this post this listing has 8 bidders at $127 and reserve not made. Poor Fellas.

Some collectard is prolly gonna buy it and then get it graded since it looks kinda minty. lame imo

game is also lame as far as controls, graphics are a C+ at the most. This is no more than a $50 game just purely out of collectard aspect, and even that is too much money.

As I understand it, you only get non-opened stuff graded.

Darkwing Duck sucks to play, yeah, but honestly I always liked the sprite animation and the cool magnifying glass effect on the stage select screen.
Current want list:  Bomberman 93
