TG-16 with AV, region and light mods: $350 + $51 shipping to Canada:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbografx-16-Fully-REFURBISHED-with-Awesome-Improvements-/331698463897?hash=item4d3ac4e499:g:B94AAOSwYHxWN~zt

The best is how he charges that price and then offers a $40 discount if you send him your existing TG-16, Power Supply and Controller.  For many people it would cost that much just to ship it to him, and then he's charging $350 after.  Yeesh.

WTF, did Diskounters finally sell all their sealed $10 Sonic Spike copies or something? Or is it just another case of collectard/dumb person bait?

The same seller has many overpriced Turbo games.

The only benefit GSP has is to seller, they are covered if the package are lost or damaged. Seller loses nothing but IMO it's just for the lazy seller who doesn't give a f*ck if a rare MISB Cotton arrives intact or if the idiot drones ripped the box open and shipped just the game to save money.

I wouldn't count on that.  I recently shipped a statue via GSP and it arrived slightly damaged due to shipping.  The buyer filed for a refund, even though i don't offer refunds on collectibles and vintage stuff. ebay/paypal immediately rips the cash from my account and then asks for me to answer some questions. then they say if it is damaged in shipping to let them know.  i did so, and the didn't give a sh!t.  got an email stating they "sided with the buyer" and that i had to refund his money, plus pay for the return shipping!
Ebay is all about the buyers, not the sellers.

Damn, just read this.  That sucks man.  I was always under the belief that if the item got to ebay fine you were absolved of later damage but I guess not.  Were you unable to show pictures that it was fine shape before or something?  Hope it didn't hit you too bad.

Double post so my apologies, but I wasn't sure where would be best to post this even though it's not really a gouge.

Link above is to stuff supposedly being sold by Victor Ireland's son, so some weird bits in there for ya'll.  The promo bits alone are interesting, like the KLAX fanny pack and the Saddam Hussein vs Bonk T-shirt.

Is his son named "Wheaties" or "Dick"?

Those BIN prices are definite gouges.
