Is it normal for Turbo CD systems with a broken CD drive to go for $150 or more on ebay??
I had my eye on a system early this week but at the end people bid it up to $150.
And its broken!

  Really?!  Yeesh!  I paid $140 for a WORKING TG16 / CDrom setup

If you think that was "stupid" then I was checking out an auction on a swedish version of ebay....A non working brefcase Cd player no box no maual not original cables 6 games of no intresst and the auction ended at $629.00 (4000:- swedish kroner)  ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
The swedish stupidity is endles, I've did a little research and found one for $104 + 62 shipping from HK complete in box (I'm negotiating for it just now   )

Ups........! I forgot I'm a swede....So! Some swedes stupidity is endless..Ah yes that sounded much better...lol.

Anyone need just the manual for Bonk 3?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Bonk-3-Bonks-Big-Adventure-TurboGrafx-16-Manual-Only-/250617950446?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item3a59fe70ee

That manual on there has been listed for at least a year or more at that price..
Stupid price. No one is ever gonna buy it. I wonder how much they charge him for the listing.

Not sure if this joke of an auctions been posted but:

I'd imagine the guy is looking for offers from resellers.

I looked at that a while back too, heh.  Neutopia II is a super cd apparently.

I couldn't figure out how it was complete until I got to the bottom, where he's counting JP releases of MC, DEII, Terraforming, Godzilla, DH and Cotton toward it's "completeness".

FFS. =/

Even worse than VGA grading: $180 for a new copy of Final Lap Twin, 'sealed' in a plastic bag and graded by VGQuality.  Not pathetic enough?  Then take a look at the mailing address for VGQuality and the eBay seller locations; the former is McKean, PA, which is a suburb of the latter (Erie, PA).

I never thought I'd say this, but I trust the "Nintendo Seal of Quality" more than most things these days.

Sad, but true.

A bit steep price for a used TG-16 don't you think?
The seller claims its new and in factory state intact but if so how was it possible to take photos of the inside?
And if it's new how come the styrofoam is so damaged all over?
What kind of gradingsystem alows only taped seals?

I realy hate this kind of collectors / Sellers they only damage the scene. High prices and useless  grading systems

Why not simply charge $999.99? Why bother with 1,059.99?

But it comes in a bag! You know that heavy plastic aint cheap.
Im Going to start a Game grading container grading system. That mint bag would have a 83 Gold star plus rating.

Guys! Somebody jump on this deal fast, before its gone!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Keith-Courage-Alpha-Zones-Turbografx-16-Brand-New-/120703778149?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item1c1a817d65#ht_500wt_1156

You know what's funny on that one he listed it at .99 cents, and I was watching the auction.  The next day the auction was ended and re-listed w/ the new too rich for my blood price.
Gypsies did it.

I always wonder what goes through ebay sellers minds when they look at a copy of Kieth Courage and list it for more than $2.
