Perhaps BlueBMW should put all remaining Sapphire Cd's on one auction to destroy the bootleg market for said game...forever! :D
I can see it now:

"100 sapphire Bootleg CD's for sale"
    Only 99 cent, starting bid!

Would probably make all Sapphire Bootleg gougers mad as hell  :-" :-" :-"

Then again they probably buy them at any cost and ceremonly destroy them on Youtube and claim that the remaing CD's are worth even more so perhaps not such a good idea...  :(

I thought about it, but decided against it.  Mostly because I'm down to about 30 cds now :D

Yeah, it's one of the best games you can get on a chip, but hot damn!! This game is already up to $60. I got mine with the manual about two years ago for $25 shipped.

I paid $35 (plus a couple bucks shipping) for the card+manual about a year ago, both mint. I thought I did OK.

Definitely one of the best US hueys.

It's up to $86 now, while the last two boxed copies sold on eBay went for $50 and $40.  Some people are just plain stupid.  ](*,)

I think what is driving the price up is the inclusion of a T-16 case. Perhaps, most of these people believe that this game comes with its 'original case.' Noobs...

Anyone seen this? http://cgi.ebay.com/Turbografx-Turbo-duo-Might-Magic-III-Vasteel-Godzilla-/230604989573?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item35b120e485#ht_500wt_1156

Might and Magic III, Godzilla, Vasteel and Dragon Slayer (and keith courage). Buy it now for $480? Honestly I'm not sure that's a bad deal. I swear I've seen Might and Magic and Godzilla both go for over $200 by themselves.

You are right and that's absurd.  I sold my CIB copy for $35.  If I threw away the original box and tray and replaced it with a hucard plastic case it would have sold for more?  Some people are not too bright.

It's a bad deal, don't even think twice about it. And no, Godzilla never goes for anywhere near $200, not even on eBay.

Yeah, it appears I'm way off on Godzilla: Godzilla. And it also appears I paid WAY too much for a jenky, incomplete copy of Dragon Slayer. I think a paid a local game store nearly $70 for that. :(

EDIT: I feel like I should point out that that ebay listing includes the rare Keith Courage, worth $80!

Speaking of Air Zonk...

The seller listed it yesterday for $50 BIN, then apparently saw the recent $86 auction, pulled it, and relisted for $85.  What a f*cker.

I wouldn't pay that.  But I honestly think if the seller split that set up, they would be able to get $480 on ebay.  Godzilla $150, Might & Magic $150, Vasteel $50, Dragon Slayer $30, Keith Courage $100.
