Sept 9th: Legend of Hero Tonma (HuCard with sleeve in the exact same condition) is sold by plcards for $103.83

Yeah, about 75% of the low BIN are won by PLass and a few other gougers
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

Oh look, now people think Cotton is worth $500. Thanks a lot, MadGear/16-Bit!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cotton-Fantastic-Night-Dreams-TurboGrafx-CD-1993-Super-CD-Rom-Turbo-Duo-/160908547557?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item2576e595e5
What you're doing is planting seeds for later inflation.  You know it's not going to sell and people will scoff, but when they see it suddenly become "no longer available" they'll start to wonder what if it really sold for $500. Then all you need is a couple months of scarcity before people get desperate and $500 becomes the new price. You're trying to make Cotton the next runaway witch on the inflation broomstick.

$203 shipped for a sealed copy of John Madden Duo CD Football.  :|

The strange thing is what appears to be a 110 euro price tag on it; what's this thing doing in Europe and why does this guy think it's worth $60 extra?

Are you saying that this game should be going for $140ish?

Bahahaha http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Duo-Rockman-100-Complete-RARE-PC-Engine-Megaman-Capcom-/321014077843?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item4abdee1993
I was just looking at the auction.  I didn't know Megaman was released for the PCE so I was considering buying it and then looked at the price.  WTF?!
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

That game is supposed to be free and it is an nes port. Bonknuts from the forums here did the work on it. http://pcedev.wordpress.com/downloads-and-links/

Well, this is where it came from:

http://sapphire.anime4ever.de/

And he still has 'em for sale at 49 EUR which = $63 USD. "RARE" indeed... But yeah, he took Bonknuts' free port work, pressed CDs and threw 'em up for sale. Same guy that did the Sapphire bootlegs.

Lord no!  I meant why are they (a store) trying to get 50% more on eBay than what they presumably sell it for locally (assuming that sticker is theirs).

Hows this for a gouge?

Its not even the U.S version that everyone is after, just the PCE version.

Yep and BlueBMW gave away 3490875908723450987608792345087+1 of those for free.  Granted I think they were lose copies, but still.

I also  at the John Madden price.  Thank you people that never cared about the Turbo.

Well well well.....  Look at what we have here..  As for the above eBay item for that insane asking price, I messaged the seller..  Here is what I sent..

Quote
You do realize, that I sold this very game to you a few months back, with a very detailed description letting the buyer know is was not a legit release, AND was a CDr game, not a pressed CD.  If you do not remove this listing or at the very least give a more detailed description, I will be reporting this to eBay.  It is unfair for you to try and take advantage of someone that is ignorant of the item in question.  Also, this is not a RARE game, the item can be bought for WAY less than your insane Buy It Now price.  http://sapphire.anime4ever.de/

I thought the name sounded familiar when I clicked on the auction, he just bought this from me towards the end of the summer, and paid about what I paid when I bought it directly from anime4ever.
