Love how he sets a Model 1 Sega CD bundle up for a low ass bid, but can't do the same for Bonk 3.

Are you saying that this game should be going for $140ish?

Lord no!  I meant why are they (a store) trying to get 50% more on eBay than what they presumably sell it for locally (assuming that sticker is theirs).

Ah...  I thought that you had gone off the deep end and were now valuing Madden games at $100 each.

I had not noticed the price sticker on the front.   #-o

I would assume that this sealed copy should actually be going for $10-25 or so?

Well well well.....  Look at what we have here..  As for the above eBay item for that insane asking price, I messaged the seller..  Here is what I sent..

I thought the name sounded familiar when I clicked on the auction, he just bought this from me towards the end of the summer, and paid about what I paid when I bought it directly from anime4ever.

f*ck him.  I already turned that meatsack in for selling a booty, but I'll be surprised if ebay does anything.

That sounds about right to me - probably towards the upper end since it's sealed.

There's another sealed copy sitting online for $23 right now.

Looks like he either took it down, or eBay did.  Link points to another auction now, and its not showing in his for sale items anymore.  :)

He revised the item.  Good.  It had been reported anyway. If eBay looks at it now, they'll be like "What?"

:)  They can see it was revised and what was revised tho.  Unless they are complete retards, they should put two and two together.

Hey, good work to whoever! Wasn't expecting results on this one. So to revise, only the Sapphire discs were actually pressed, the Megaman port discs are actually CD-Rs. Thus, false advertising on two levels, that it's "RARE" to justify his greed/profiteering with a markup to $250 (from $63) AND not stating upfront that it's a CD-R; a potential buyer would assume it's a real pressed CD by default given the legitimate appearance.

not sure if this is gouging but it seems like it based on the previously sold copies on ebay..

Funny you mention that, he did not take my $10 bid either.....  I could use a new copy too since my card is a bit scratched up.

I offered him a fair price for it too ($30) and told him I could have gotten it at the retro gaming convention for $35 and he told me this:
"    Cool, go buy it from the retro gaming convention. Sorry."
Lame.

so, as a newbie here... I take it ebay is not a good place to buy stuff at a reasonable price...
