so, as a newbie here... I take it ebay is not a good place to buy stuff at a reasonable price...

It is if you're careful, patient, and not one to determine prices based primarily on unsold BINs and unrealistically high (due to shill bidding) end values.  Since buying stuff new back in the day, probably 90% of my purchases were from ebay, and I'd say they were all at least fairly priced, with a few sweet deals to boot.

This guy is firm on 54.00 for Neutopia. Time to carpet bomb him offers of $2. :)

Funny you mention that, he did not take my $10 bid either.....  I could use a new copy too since my card is a bit scratched up.

I offered $10, got a counter of $46... #-o

I offered him a fair price for it too ($30) and told him I could have gotten it at the retro gaming convention for $35 and he told me this:
"    Cool, go buy it from the retro gaming convention. Sorry."
Lame.

JESUS, when did this become a $30 game?
I got my copy 2 years ago as a secret santa gift, but I've bought 3 (all of ebay) since, just for some friends or trading for waaaaay less.

You should be able to find one for way less than that, even on ebay; even better (and cheaper) would be a PCE Duo/R/RX and a region mod, just make sure it's had its caps changed if it's an original PCE Duo (the TurboDuo needs caps too).  Check with fellow member Keith Courage - he usually has a few refurbished Duos on hand.

Its going for much more than that, thats the sad part. $30 is what I saw it for last year at the retro gaming convention.

That's not a $46 game son so quit trying to jack the prices up with your crappy auctions.

eh, remember, just because it's listed, doesn't mean it sold.
personally, no way in hell i'd pay more than $20 for a copy of the game, so i guess i'm glad i've already got it.
Neutopia II is still one I want though...

You're kidding, right? I just bought this game off ebay for $29.99 a week ago, and that's a little on the high side for it as far as I'm concerned. $46.00... or especially $54.00... is a rediculous amount for that game.

BTW, if anyone needs this game, I have a loose copy they can have. That's right Turbokid, I'm giving it away for free. That's one less sale for you (not that anyone would've bought it for what your pricing it for).

If the card is not scratched up I would like it and then I will give away my slightly scratched up one.

Its not scratched, but its got some fading on the bottom. Looks like someone had stuck a peice of scotch tape on it for whatever reason, and when removed, it took a few specks of the blue color with it (as seen by the little white "dots" in the photo). It's more of a gamer's copy due to this...

You're quite the business man.  Be proud.  $54 for Neutopia is a f*cking joke.  Maybe it's worth that for a complete in box copy (sealed).  A $30 offer is not a lowball offer.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

That copy is just about like mine so some other lucky gamer should get it.
