Sure you could.  You could burn your own cds and load roms on a flashcart too, but that doesn't mean it's the same thing.

Not to say that this thing is worth big monies (it sure as shit ain't to me), but they're trying to gouge based on perceived rarity and collectability, not because some casual joe has no other options for storing their TE.

May God Bless this Turbo gouge AMEN!

Dude, that's a fair price.  The TurboGrafx16 "NES RF Adapter" Edition was released in very small quantities... plus, there are some nice mint-condition-complete rares included, such as Victory Run and Klax.

He is also gracious enough to include "one controller that is broke" you know "in case someone might want if for parts"

You guys are cracking me up.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

I have been noticing a tremendous increase in the number of repros on ebay too. Right or wrong it doesn't seem to matter as long as there is money to be made.

It's definitely against eBay policy (not to mention illegal) and they most certainly won't do anything about it. But it does look like he did a nice job of the discs and cases.

Too bad the system has no good games.
