But he'll sell it to you here for a mere $500, which is actually more than he'd net after eBay fees!

Sorry, can't link right now, but I'm getting real sick of the clown trying to sell Godzilla disc and case in different auctions. No manual even. I sent him a "not nice" message.

ME:
Dear mrniceguy1408,

Hi. Are you ever going to just put the Godzilla case and disc in one auction?  Maybe find the manual so you can get what you are looking for?  What you have is only worth about $60 together, at best.

HIM:
hi. no. that is your opinion. who is to say what it is worth? I have seen this game pieced in the past. what does it matter to you? are you interested? I have it listed at this price. if it sells, it sells. if not, hopefully I find a manual for it. if not it doesn't really matter much cause the game is crap anyway. now that you see where I'm coming from, any more questions? :)

More so than top selling prices, repeated failure to sell for a hot in-demand collectible is the collective eBay shopping public unanimously agreeing that what you are asking is too far beyond what it is worth to anyone.

Right.  Most people that are willing to pay top dollar (for whatever reason), always see these auctions pretty quick.  After five attempts, he should learn.
"Hey, maybe the one guy willing to pay that price has been on vacation for a month and just hasn't seen it yet."

Yep.  I saw this too and literally laughed out loud.  If anything, maybe it is bringing some good laughs through the ridiculousness of it!

With deals that good, he should change his ID to Communistix.

I wish eBay would start charging these arseholes with a re-listing fee.  Even .10 cents would be nice just to know they are wasting money would make my heart warmer.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.
