Meh, I make no excuses for what I sell.  Hell, I bet 99% of the people here would have sold that game given what was paid for it and what it sold for especially given that a sealed game like that is nothing more than a shelf trophy.  While I do enjoy handing out sealed games (and other stuff) and selling helps cover the cost I sold that specific game because the market was hot (it sold in about 5 minutes BTW).  I have a bunch of stuff that I have collected over the last few years and as recently as yesterday that I have either recently sold or am in the process of selling. I could offer it here (which most of it already has been) but the majority of it is common to kinda-rare at the most and I got no replies or offers.  Some people like to use the word "gouge" here a lot but I really don't think they know what it means.

Like I said Jello it's nothing personal, I would wager a left nut that anyone including myself would have done the same thing. My problem is everyone on here bitches and cries when this sort of thing happens, so to come on here and openly say it is a whole different animal. Madboom got super shit on for just asking a few questions, I have seen people get crucified for trying to buy a house with the games they sell, and the guy did get his house off the back of everyone here. It just amazes me at how one person gets the shaft and another gets a pat on the back with a nice job to boot, that's all i'm saying. Again nothing personal and probably in the future you might not want to let the world know :-) I am sure there are those who are super pissed about that have not said anything out of fear of getting shit on. Me I could care less.

No offence taken.  There will always be people in any community that expect everyone to conform to their personal opinion no matter the situation.

Since I figured out who he is and know he doesn't flip games for a living and it was a situational occurrence, I withdrew my stated desire to deliver a boot to his sack.

Just wait until I start selling off my stack of systems that I have been fixing and slightly modding.

Doesn't count. You'd have to have had them fixed and modded by other techs here for cheap, and then sell for not-cheap in order to qualify for a crotch booting.

  on a side note, I think one of the poor systems that I fixed had actually been on fire at some point.

Wow what a bunch of Hippocrates we have here.

We're all an ancient Greek doctor?  Cool!

lol... that's the first thing that popped into my mind, too.

Meh, I make no excuses for what I sell.

Yep.  That makes you a lot like null (and every other seller in this thread): gouge when it suits your purposes.

Hey, apologize to jelloslug right now.  I don't care how much he gouges, nobody deserves to be called "a lot like null".

Everyone is all oh oh you shouldn't do that but someone that gives shit away it's ok for ???? Hmmmm I have nothing personal against anyone but this kind of thing was once frowned upon on these forums but now acceptable? I bet if I told you I found a dynastic hero in my local pawn shop for 10 bux and made 1500 on it everyone would throw a f*cking shit fit..... anyhow that's my rant take it or leave it....

I wondered how long it would take your anus to begin weeping over this.  Maybe I should have called out your buddy for his $275 JP Magical Chaise sale. :P  Oh, wait, he doesn't have a recent feedback history showing a trend of buying cheap games and immediately reselling them for profit so it didn't really hit my radar, not that I'm the gouge police by any means.

That's because he does not do that. Like I said there is no animosity, just probably should have kept it to himself. Yes I agree we have all sold on the bay and here for whatever reason. Throwing people under the bus seems to be the thing here, and singling out one or two people to get gang f*cked is the way too, god I love this place. All in the same breath we cut em down and say it's ok. As for Madboom he has given pretty freely to this community too. I'm sure there are some here who can attest to it. I know my opinion does not count but I have bought from him and received free games in my package. So with all that being said, nice find Jello, keep up the good work with the raffles, and the rest who don't care for me can keep on riding :-)

Here is the one that was burnt up. I had to replace the power socket with a new one and rebuild the case all around it.  I also had to fix a really bad botched region mod.  The funny thing was that after I rewired the card slot it still did not work.  I then realized that I turned it into a PC Engine.... #-o

I hate when sellers sell high value games without putting pics of the actual item.  If you are going to be charging that much you should damn well take time to take proper pics instead of using stock photo's.
