^ looks like he is trying to justify the price tag by adding a free burned CD copy of DE2. In reality he is actually hurting his auction by doing that.

In the description he says that the cdr copy has no value, which isn't true. Archival service is worth at least $5 per disc:

The discripton looked rather caned not really reffering to the game. I do abhor stock pucs instead of the item you get.

Was it me or did it feel like aalt rubed in a wound leaving a lrice sticker like that?

That's too bad, Shadowgate is a good game. I have an old VHS tape left somewhere that I recorded beating the game on. Once you learn all the tricks after the first playthrough, I think it takes like 30 minutes to run right through it again.

Wouldn't even work after a normal cleaning with 90% isopropyl. I had to lightly sand the contacts then reclean to get the game to work! But it was in "GOOD" condition let me tell ya!

Here it is now:

I was gonna ask about if it even worked, but guess you implied that it didn't. NES games were always a bitch anyway to get working if you had the traditional top loader model which was a debacle as far as how it would give out, flaky as it was, and have you doing all sorts of things (blowing, cleaning the cart endlessly, moving the cart side to side, etc.) to get a damn game to work.

POST UPDATE:

I heard from the seller and I believe this was a sincere mistake. He was very apologetic and issued a full refund without my asking. Here is our email exchange:

"Dear toymachine78,

I do not think you got the right game.... you should have gotten the one pictured. I am very sorry this. There is no need to try to hurt my reputation. Its just a mistake. How would you like me to fix this.

- toyarcade"

Dear toyarcade,

Well I've already spent the time to painstakingly remove the sticker without damaging the game label. I wouldn't put the game in my NES as is, and it didn't even work after cleaning the contacts. I had to lightly sand the contacts and reclean to get the game to play.

That being said... Ive invested time and energy to clean the cart up and I don't want to pay return shipping. So the only fair way to make it "right" is to give me a partial refund. That's my feeling.

Dear toymachine78,

Ok, well i don't feel that is enough. I will issue you a full refund for even having to do any work at all. It is my fault and i take full responsibility. I truly apolgoize for this i have no clue how this happened. Please don't be hesitant to come back, you'll have a much better experience.

- toyarcade

Stand up seller. I retract my douche bag alert!
