And after the Xth fake eBay auction the joke wears a little thin IMO.

True, for us, but for a new person just getting into the system and the pricing drama around it, it isn't.

Posting in this thread when there is a "make offer" is kind of a waste of keystrokes.
I find this thread at its best when crazy BINs are listed without the offer button. Too many dimwits are using high BINs with the offer KNOWING the BIN wont sell.
Its actually getting harder to find something worthy of sharing here because everybody wants $10,000 for vigilante.

Lol at the "collector cards". I have like a hundred of them. They were definitely made to cater to collectors.

Because the "make offer" button is never abused, where the seller won't accept anything more than 99% of their BIN price.   Riiiiiight.

meh... it's the spirit of it.  this thread is better with BINs that the dumbasses think would actually sell.
the make offer is too difficult to assume one way or the other what the seller will take.
besides, again, prices are so moronic now, hardly anything is worth posting in this thread now because there arent anymore surprises.  plcards finally won.

Heh, that's true.  It might be quicker to post deals that aren't ridiculous.

But for BINs, even those without a "best offer" are often fishing for offers.  Too many asshats use eBay as a convenient place to host descriptions and pics, then they advertise on forums to elicit offers outside of eBay.

Every time I've made a "best offer" it's either ignored or counter offered for at most a dollar off.  The last game I made an offer on the counter offer was the BIN price.

I counter offered/annoyed my way into getting Dragon's curse CIC for $35 shipped. Thought it was better than $50+. :3

I usually throw offer after offer at sellers on the evil place just for my own amusement, sometimes they actually play along and I end up getting a decent price out of them. Yeh.

Counter.

I wanted to keep saying counter.

One more...

Counter.

I have gotten some good deals with best offer.  I would say that 80% of the time the seller is an idiot though.
