The same guy does that with all of the consoles he sells....

...

The guy just doesn't know what he is doing. Everything he sells is priced super high! A computer fan was listed at $15.00 when you can buy those for a couple bucks each.

Even his auctions are a jumbled mess of begging for feedback and fake legal mumbo jumbo all formatted in notepad 10 years ago.

I have gotten some good deals with best offer.  I would say that 80% of the time the seller is an idiot though.
I agree. I have as well. Especially from hit Japan when buying multiple items

Here is a great "or buy it now" bullshit auction:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TURBO-GRAFX-VIDEO-GAME-CONSOLE-VINTAGE-RARE-COMPLETE-PLUG-AND-PLAY-/161402710058

Geez... And it doesn't even have the OEM RF cables and power supply.

Victory Run with a crinkly manual for $88 + $100 shipping!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VICTORY-RUN-HUDSON-SOFT-NEC-VIDEO-GAME-CARD-TURBO-GRAFX-16-RARE-ORIGINAL-CASE-/181504627178?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a4284d1ea

Galaga '90 and Sonic Spike also available for the same price, but do not expect to get combined shipping. [-X

He also has a loose TurboGrafx-16 console for $530 + $100 shipping, if you need something to play the games on.

Literally every Turbo item and the shipping prices are all off by a decimal point.

judging by his description, hes not moving much from the ask of $1500
I will admit, i have never seen the "revenge" pack-in.

Sparky should make a "bonk's revenge pack-in" sticker that we can all apply to our own boxes and flood e-bay with.  From the looks of it, that is, after all, the only difference between the box in that auction and any other box ever (with the exception of the giant cover-the-whole-box zonk stickered boxes).

Yup, that sticker was slapped on standard box and Bonk's Revenge added to stock TG-16.

I thought you would link to a news blurb or ad from TurboPlay about this!

It turns out that not only was this a move to compete with Nintendo and Sega, but an effort to clear some stock before TurboDUO launched in autumn of 1992.

Here's the next issue of TurboPlay (June/July 1992), with news of further slash in price ($69.99 stock TG-16)...

Thought this was another Galam spoof.... No its a serious listing.

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251633510919&alt=web

These prices are out of control! Good god... Where did all this turbo hype come from? When this system released all my friends talked shit about it, cause I was the only person in our school that had one. Now its the hottest damn thing since Crystal Pepsi! Lol
