CIC Sapphire for $1500:

http://m.ebay.com/itm/252206516675?_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=20150831081715&meid=d8053ce41db2427abe7908060322d91b&pid=100520&rk=2&rkt=3&sd=291753406996&_trksid=p2349624.c100520.m4113&_mwBanner=1

I bought a NEW!/SE@LED! copy off eBay last year for $500 and it had already sat unsold for a while.

So we wait until they drop the price lol.

I have 200 pesos.

scumbag lists his booty sapphire as "care4data version"  doesn't use the word bootleg or reproduction anywhere in the description.  he gets reported then relists with the exact same description a couple of hours later.

Notice his double speak for "this is a bootleg/repro":

"This is the CARE4DATA version, not the Hudson version."

O_o...

EDIT: Doh, schweaty beat me to it.

Tobias/Fudoh/animeforever/Hudson Soft Japan/PCE 20th Anniversary/PCEWorks already produced proof that it's the official second print run by Hudson, who told him in person when he walked into their head office in 2005/2006 and casually asked at the front desk. They sent down their legacy reprint comfirmation agent who told him the whole story and how much more rare and value to collectors the reprint is. He even got a letter from them, which again confirms the legitimacy of the reprints, that he was kind enough to scan and post online for all of us. So that we can safely bid up the ultra rare reprint instead of wasting money on the lousy 1st print.

The misprints are one-of-kind variants which are the most valuable of all. It's even harder than Working Designs disc variants to put together a complete set of. We should be very thankful that Tobias and honest eBay sellers like this are doing such a great service for the community. It's too bad that PCEWorks hasn't set up a Patreon account yet. The hard work of the wannabe youtube stars falls far too short of the recognition that the PCEWorks team of hardcore fans truly deserve.

I was gonna wait for that guy in Germany to do it who I hear does a bang up job with his reprints... It's just not the same without those accompanying caffeinated energy drinks to sweeten the deal. Problem is, he's a little controversial though... :/

After every copy of Mysterious Song is sold and collectards finally hear about another English RPG, basically the Earthbound of the TG-16, they'll gouge the crap out of it, passing around copies like a hot potato.

That's when the deluxe limited edition PCEWorks NEW MILLENIUM Duo boxsets will be unleashed, featuring new print runs of select formally homebrew games. Each set's collection will have a random kids t-shirt or something and the same "only-100-will-ever-be-made" coin that he's packed into the last few thousands sets.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but a CIB Magical Chase is being sold for almost $100,000. The guy makes a point of how its amazingly super rare and how there are absolutely no refunds.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he's doing it as a joke. Thoughts on this?

It's being listed at $100k, not sold.  He's just another f*cktard fishing for offers, probably hoping to sell it off ebay to save fees.
