i recently started working at an area chain of game/music/dvd stores that are pretty sweet.

Which one?

The chain is called CD tradepost, mostly in Nebraska and Kansas, but there's one in Iowa too.

Calling gamestop a glorified thrift store is an insult to thrift stores.

thats basicly what it is tho thrift stores usualy sell sencond hand stuff.  Gamestop begs to have you send hand games basicly an over glorified thrift store.

Actually Guyjin is right.  Thrift stores don't sell used stuff for only $5 less than new.

In the sence of over gloyified thrit store is not the price its the fact thy beg for you used crap.  Thrift stores just cary crap that not even being sold new for the most most just a bunch of worthless junk.  Gamestop is an over glorifid thrift store for vidoe games they get media exsposure and they have to tell you very damn time you buy a game from them sell them used games.  IF you were a customer befr they have seen you face befor wh the hell do they have to remind you.  I think in the sence of over gloryifed thrift store it fits the catagory verry well.  Yes gamestop give thrift stores a bad name.
