Sounds simple enough, is everything I need in the memory stick (cfw update) or do I DL it, and connect to computer.

Sorry, I'm an idiot when it comes modding.

You can actually make a Pandora battery from a standard one, and there are both hardware and software methods of doing this, but the easiest way is to just borrow one from someone else.

Definitely the simplest / quickest way to get the job done. :P

So looks like blue is gonna hook me up with the pandora!

I'm lookin to get an 8gb memory, should I do a pro duo, or sdhc? Any notable differences?

I use two 16gb sdhc cards in a dual pro duo adapter. So that's 32gb of gaming goodness. Oh and i have two of those setups.

No difference on performance.
