Question about PCE packaging
« on: November 18, 2010, 06:23:33 AM »
I know that some TG games didn't get actual jewel cases, and that GoT had no back insert.
were there any games that didn't get back inserts or jewel cases?
are there any other oddly packaged PCE games?

Based on the thread title, I fixed that for ya.

There are none that I can think of, other than non-retail promo stuff (i.e. - the special HuCards).

are there any other oddly packaged PCE games?

I can't think of many, but there are a few: Forgotten Worlds came boxed with an Avenue Pad 3, Pachiokun Maboroshi No Densetsu came boxed with a pachinko controller, and 3x3 Eyes came boxed with a VHS tape.  Galaxy Fraulien Yuna wasn't exactly oddly packaged, but the re-release version came in a double jewel case with a second disc containing a HuVideo clip; similarly, a few games came in a double jewel case with a soundtrack disc.

it was veigues, and the back insert was the insert from a blank CD case turned inside out and written on.
the jewel case holder thing was just a standard CD thing with the middle pieces broken off.
sorry, camera's busted right now, and not enough money for a new one right now, christmas and all

Well, in that case then you aren't missing an insert because early HuCard games didn't have them. They had black (opaque) plastic backs.

Yeah, what Zeta said.  It's still incomplete, though, as that's obviously not the original case.
