Where can I find TG16 games!
« on: November 22, 2010, 01:15:07 PM »
I have just started to collect for the turbografx and the few games I've bought have been from ebay. They have been a little bit on the expensive side. I've seen a lot of other users bash ebay and I was wondering where u guy got your games.

You can get some pretty sweet deals on these forums. You just have to have the patience to wait. I've also made some great finds on Craigslist, always keeps your eyes peeled there as well.
SignofZeta: What a quintessentially PCEFX thread. Someone complains about nothing, multiple Bible-length posts discussing who's a bigger a$$hole follow. You're both pretty big a$$holes. Let's call it a tie.

Forums, forums, forums. Actual gamers tend to sell their games to other gamers at, uh, "proper" prices.

Also, every once in a while a large stock of new/sealed games makes its way to eBay through one eBay store or another. This is becoming less and less frequent as time goes by, but often when this happens sealed games can be had for extremely good deals.

Here in Buffalo, NY I picked up a bunch of games at the flea market.  It never hurts to check those places or the thrift stores out.

Plenty of good deals can still be found on eBay, you just have to be patient.  Don't jump on the first BIN you see or base your prices on overpriced listings that have been up since the Reagan era, and you'll do just fine.

This happened last year with Cosmic Fantasy 2 right when I was starting to collect. Picked up my sealed copy for $7. :)
