Given recent events in Wisconsin (http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/03/wis-state-senate-passes-anti-union-bill-in-end-run-around-dem-boycott.php?ref=fpa) I am considering boycotting the state of Wisconsin, and, necessarily, the MGC.  :|

LMAO...  I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh too much, but I think you're in the dark on something...  The Midwest Gaming Classic is actually half owned and operated by a Milwaukee teacher and his teacher wife.  That's right, Dan Loosen and his wife are both teachers and caught in the middle of this.  LOL...

By doing any sort of boycott, you would actually be harming the people that you're trying to stick up for, hehe.

Sorry, and I will try to never talk about this again here, but I hate politics.  As much as you may want to believe otherwise, politics often blind us from realizing that neither side is entirely in the right or entirely in the wrong.  ](*,)  IMHO we need to get away from labels like democrats and republicans and find the common ground that makes us all American (at least for those of us in the USA, hehe.)

Listen, I realize you said what you did with the best of intentions, but you can come to the show and know that you're actually helping a teacher and his family if you want.  As for the show itself, politics can be checked in at the door with your coat.  This convention is about a celebration of gaming and gaming communities like Turbo Fest.  :)

Later.

Hey folks,

The Turbo Fest page is now live on the MGC website:

http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/at-the-show/museum/turbo-fest/

That's right, Matt, Joshua, and Bryon are now friggin' famous!  ;)  Seriously, if you're bringing something to the fest and you'd like me to do a name drop for you too, I have no problem with it.  Those three names were basically the ones I had thus far.

Similarly, if you see any issues with it, either e-mail me or yell at me here on the forums and I'll try to get it fixed.  :)

Later.

I don't know if it will be that big of a deal, but the Magical Chase that is being brought is the PC Engine version. You may want to reflect that there Boss Man. :)

We're staying right in the hotel of the convention.

I'm going to be in Saturday only, if the dinner is at night, I will likely be unable to attend.

The 3DS launch the next day created some scheduling chaos with that weekend for me.
