(2) MAP BUTTON III TO: (Select)
(3) Function of (Select): menu pop up

Thank you .

I really want to pick up a 3 button controller.  :)

My goal is to create "3-button controller LUST" amongst all the members of the forum. I don't care if you have a standard controller or one of those crazy 6-button controllers...

LUST FOR 3-buttons

...and my work is complete.

(1) GAME TITLE: Gradius
(2) MAP BUTTON III TO: (RUN)
(3) Function of (Select): pause
(4) Optional, but greatly appreciated... COMMENTS/ADVICE! If your 3 button pad has hold feature, use it for slo motion!  Rapid fire on button II works fine as well during slow mo but you may need to hold button I for a second to buy power up.

(1) GAME TITLE: Salamander

Esteban, I am amazed at your ability to put these lists together so quickly.  Not only informative but, you've got me interested in release dates, the 3 button controller, as well as the sounds of the TG16.

Keep up the great work.

Now off to see if I can find a damn 3 button controller.... Lust has arrived.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Spenoza: The wannabe masculinity just overwhelms.

Instead of listing the "Poor Man's Slow Motion" for each game, I'll make a general notice about it in the beginning of the FAQ.

BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM FINDING MORE GAMES FOR the humble TBFG FAQ .

I want to add, for valis III run and down is used to slide which is totally ridiculous with a standard pad but with a ave iii it works like a charm
(19:28:25) GE0: superdead told me in whisper that his favorite game is mario paint

Quote

Street Fighter II'

MAP BUTTON III TO: RUN
Function of (Run): 3rd kick or punch attack.
COMMENTS/ADVICE: (+) Better than using just the RUN button. (-) Still much worse than using a real 6-Button pad.

Like playing on a 3 Button Genesis Controller switching with the Start Button

Ha!

I bet more undocumented (in this thread) games could be found if folks investigated all the RPG/ARPG that might do something useful with RUN/SELECT.

(1) GAME TITLE: Silent Debuggers
(2) MAP BUTTON III TO: Run
(3) Function of (Select): Fire secondary weapon (Grenade/Sonic/Sleep Launcher)
(4) COMMENTS/ADVICE: Play the game on an Avenue Pad 3 or under/overuse all secondary weapons. It's hard to fire properly and accurately when you have to press RUN to do so.

(1)  Antlantean / Santalantean
(2) MAP BUTTON III TO: RUN
(3) Function of RUN: Emergency Warp (because you almost doomed Atlantis!!!)
(4) COMMENTS/ADVICE! Just discovered this functionality and it works great. This is a great 3 button game. No surprise 3 button pad was supported.

I LOVE THE AVE. 3 PAD.
