Clearly, that is residue from flattened gummy worms (which have since been peeled off the glass).

Senshi, can you use less compression when you save them please (minimum Jpeg compression/maximum quality would be nice). Thanks.

sorry I just saw this...I have it set to 300 dpi currently. Is that what you're referring to? I can set it up to 500 dpi I think.
500 would be nice, but that's not what I'm referring to.

When you save a JPEG, you usually have an option/slider for quality. If it's set too low, the scans will have compression artefacts and look poor. If you don't seem to have this, but can save as TIFF or PNG, that is a better way to go.

Ok I scanned a double dragon disk at 600 dpi and saved it as a TIFF (although I can do PNG's as well). I can go up to 19,200 Dpi on my printer . I don't see the quality "slider". I'm using a macbook pro with a Lexmark X4580 printer.

Yeah, that's so much better - super clear now. I think 600dpi is a bit over the top though, you can scan at 500 if you like to make sending them a bit faster.

My scanner makes me choose between 300 and 600 dpi. I don't mind waiting for it to send. I'll use those settings from now on.

Hi sunteam_paul

Looks like things are drying up on the Spinecard front. (I only have 2 games left to do in my colleciton that have spines!)

Did you get the CD scans that I sent you for the games that I had already scanned the covers for etc?

Are you interested in scans for titles where I do not have the spine?

Cheers

Yes, I put a few of those CD scans up. I still have a selection of images still to do.

This is starting to build up into a nice collection of high resolution images - so anything more would be fantastic - covers, CD scans, more reg cards etc...it doesn't matter if you're missing spines.
