Yeah I agree. Faussete Amour is a little overhyped, Dracula X is the best example of it's genre from the period. The branching paths are really cool.

The thing is...I looked at all the secrets before playing the game.

It all ruined it for me.

Yeah, I thought it was a but over-hyped too. At first. DON'T GET RID OF IT! Do what these guys are saying and give it a year or two. It WILL sneak its way in and overwhelm you with awesomeness.

Having cleared it it was one of the most fun times I've had in recently. And probably the most fun Castlevania game I've played save for Simon's Quest.
