I'm certainly not looking for a complete collection, although I have recently tended towards picking up complete games. However there's definitely a wild variance on how much games cost and how much fun they are. Obviously one is a matter of opinion... But can I possibly get some input into which games are good fun without being extortionate?
Examples are great games that cost loads (£50+) (Rainbow Islands, Parasol Stars, Dracula X)
Great games that cost a bit (~£20) (PC Kid series)
Good games that offer good value (~£10) (Soldier series, Bomberman, Shubibinman)
Ok games that are a little expensive (~£20) (St Dragon)
rubbish games that cost loads, rubbish games which are cheap, etc etc.
For the moment, I'm in the range of the second two - here's my recent purchase history:
Jackie Chan £10
PC Denjin £18
NewZealand Story £11
Final Soldier £6
PC Genjin 3 £17
PC Genjin £14
Pomping World £6
I think some are probably better value than others, but overall it balances out. And I'd rather have those than say, Rainbow Islands and Dracula X.
I guess what I'm asking for, is recommendations in a similar price bracket?
