Turbo Views: Vol. 2 DVD "Pre-Orders" (one-week remaining!)

The second volume of my "Turbo Views" series DVD is nearing completion.  It came together REALLY well and I am excited for its release.  The first volume sold great (I was able to "break even" which is awesome because...I didn't create the DVDs for the money but for the fans!).  So, I am offering up the second DVD via "pre-order" to folks who purchased the first AND to the gang here at the message boards until EASTER Sunday.  

Pre-Order victim benefits:

- You will be the FIRST one to receive a set! It won't go officially ON SALE until all "pre-orders" have shipped!
- Each set will be numbered out of the amount of "pre-orders" received!
- I might have to raise shipping when they officially go for sale, "pre-orders" get same shipping price as before!

I realize these might not be very huge incentives to pre-order.  To be honest, the surgery / hospital bills have finally crept in and, as a result, I do not have enough cash to buy initial materials.  So, this is the true reason I need to take pre-orders this time around.  I hate to "beg"...ha ha...just want to be honest.

Ha ha.  Actually, I feel "guilty" charging that much.  I tried to get it under 10.  But, I went for higher quality Discs!  I think it's worth it in the end.

Yo Chris! Matt here. Pre-ordered the second I got the email a few weeks ago. I can't wait man!

I am re-watching Vol 1 in anticipation. I can watch multiple times the Turbo CD special, where you act the way we all did when we heard about a CD based console for the Turbo Grafx, and said, "No way..." You tone and expression are freakin' hilarious IMO It never gets old hee hee.

No prob, in all seriousness though I loved the first DVD set with the cool looking menus and bonus commentaries so I can't wait to see what you did with the second.

Cool, thanks Ryan.  I am trying to keep things pretty "uniform."  You know?  So...when all "six" volumes are done, they are very similar in their design and look (similar covers, just new colors and volume number but when they're side-by-side they fit together.  Same with the insert slates for each game within the DVDs, etc.).  You know?  Almost like a Turbo Video Encyclopedia.  Ha ha.

Plus, in the end.....like ten years from now, ha ha.......my buddy who works in the industry is going to create a box so all six volumes can sit in it.  And, the front will look like the Turbo box (with the TV logo in the center instead of the Grafx logo).  Plus, we'll put a booklet in there with listing of all the reviews on which Disc.  Of course, we might both be dead by then.....but it sounds fun.   

It's a fun project.
