HELP need someone in japan, anyone able to help?

Hi guys,

well its by bday an my wife has bought a present for me from japan, problem is the seller seems to have issues shipping, i now need someone local in japan that could help me, i now need someone that can help me ( my wife out ), if anyone is able to receieve a package in japan and ship it on to her it would be greatly apprecaited.  I dont need to know the details, its my wife trying to surprise me, so if you can contact me i will pass on her email and you can deal with her.  Hope someone can help.

I don't want to ruin the surprise, but shipping the entire Japanese 3DO library is going to cost your wife a lot of money.

WOW!  Does this mean we have a contact in Japan who is willing to help us...like somehow buy one or two items of something that we here in the US can only get on-line by purchasing, like, 100 of them?  Believe me, I'd happily offer to pay all expenses if that could be done.  (umm, that won't cause any legal issues, will it?)

I'm sure they will, and its not an issue if they want to   Makes sense to protect yourself.  Regardless there isnt anything dodgy, just seems like japan customs have cracked down on a few things, have heard people getting pulled up on DSI's

That wasnt my wifes intention though, she actually went through a deputy agent, its just unfortante that appparetly its gotten a bit messy and so needed the help of someone else, i know there are a few people offfering this type of service via the forums, so perhaps someone will speak up and say they can help you.   But most of the deputy services i have used previous were pretty good, i especially like the smaller one man services because they tend to be able to help in sticky situations   Rather than the larger celgas's etc..

My first response was, "this doesn't make any sense at all".  Then I realized it would easily be possible to mis-interpret my question.  I was asking if there was a person in Japan who would buy specific items in small quantities for me, then of course send them to me.  This person would not have to open anything....he/she already knows what the item is, given that he/she made the purchase personally in the first place.

AH!  That makes it clearer.  As I indicated above, I thought we were talking about a helpful volunteer, not some specific agency or service.  My mistake.
