He seems pretty nice, but I think he wants to let the auction play out and see what happens. I emailed him to see if he would sell to us individually if I could give him some type of committment on the 70 total units, but he says it would be easier and lighter on fees to sell them in one big lot ( haven't sold on eBay in years so I have no idea if this is true or not).
I asked him if he could come up w/ any solution or split up the two lots half/half so we will see what he replies with.
Here is the 1st response:
thanks for your question, however selling smaller lots I actually loose more money. final value fees on a 23 dollar sale would be around 4 dollars, but on a 600 dollar sale or more it would be like 40 bucks, so it's a better deal for both the buyer and seller and I get rid of my remaining inventory at the same time. you won't be able to find this game anywhere else. all these games I am selling are valued at $100 dollars each, there just on a less popular console which makes then hard to sell at there actual value, but I am sure someone who has the time/space to invest in these games can sell them on turbografx collector website or might already have a base of buyers on eBay that buy turbografx games from them already. thanks for the question I hope you decide to bid.
Judging by what i highlighted i'd say he is still going to want to take this to auction.
