My sincerest condolences. Great video, btw; Your dad was one of the Tuskegee Airmen? Wow.

We did a unit on the Airmen in my African-American History class a few semesters ago. It was taught by a member of the First Air Cavalry. I'm glad they gave him full military honors.

Thanks tats, and everyone else for the support!

No, he wasn't in the TA, but like your teacher, my dad was a First Cavalry man (yellow shield with the silhouette of a horse, is that right?)

Instead of wearing a shirt and tie to the funeral, I wore one of his First Cav polo shirts which I was wearing underneath that suede jacket I was wearing in the picture.

As far as the video I posted, it wasn't my dad's funeral, it was just to show an example of how a military funeral works.

Once again guys thanks for your support. Here's some pics of him:

PS The man in the middle is the father of actor Blair Underwood (from movies like Krush Groove, and Malibu's Most Wanted. He lives in my area, as Blair went to high school there.

I can't find this one photo of him during his early army days, but when you see it, you'd swear it was me!
