Cute NEC warnings. Don't bend your HuCard or it will cry
« on: May 07, 2011, 05:59:20 PM »
I love the pics from the manuals of how to care for the HuCards and CDs so I decided to scan them all. I'll add any from future games I get too. I like coming up with my own captions too.
This is obviously telling you to not play your HuCard if it's drunk

This is like cause and effect. The first one is telling you to clean your disk if you dump a can of some kind of liquid on it. The second one is to let you know to put your game away if it gets abused too much from dying over and over again in the game you are playing. The next one is something about forplay with a pencil if you tickle it too much then you can have some kind of pencil to super cd fellatio. Last one is telling you to close the cd lid or your super cd will make some tea in it's sleep walk or roll since it's round.

This is telling you that the optimal way to play is standing with your hair to the same level as the top of the tv. And to tuck your shirt in.

I guess this Super CD is messed up on some marker fumes

and here's some more I don't have captions for but they speak for themselves

Don't let your little sister play you PCE or she'll crease your manuals, molest your cds, slam the lid, and force your system to sing for her while she stomps her feet.

I think the warnings really worked though because all my Japanese games are in really nice condition. US Turbo games are always scratched and the manuals have creases in them. The grooves at the bottom of the HuCard always have this grime I have to clean out.

Its really uncommon for me to get a used Japanese game that isn't at least a 9/10 condition-wise. My theory is that the gamers in Japan aren't huge slobs.

that has also mostly to do with the fact that japanese gamer take much more care about their stuff than we westerns do/did.

actually it says that you shouldn't take out the card while the power switch is on.
But which is kinda redundant information, since the card is blocked by the power switch itself, whilst its swiched on.

Thats because the average Japanese person has alot of respect for their property and they're all neat and tidy.

The average American person is a dickbag that takes everything for granted and kicks it around and then complains that it broke.

Thankfully all us PCEFXers are above average, I hope.
