I like the RX. I think the classic gray color with the purple button really looks sharp. I also like having the cords in the back, because having systems withs cords sticking out the side ruins its look on the shelf to me.

I love the look of the TurboDuo, but the alternate color accents of the PCE Duo kinda ruins it for me.

I prefer the Duo RX over the Duo R.

None of the above.  I pick the SuperGrafx... it's so ugly, it's beautiful.  It looks like NEC consulted HR Giger for the case design.  lol

Turbo Duo. Sleek and hi-tech without the odd Japanese color scheme.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Man I go back and forth between liking one more than another. This week it's the US Turbo Duo. :)

US TurboDuo, hands down. Best looking system NEC ever produced, with the PC-FX being a close contender.

I vote for the PCE Duo. With it's slim and slick classic black casing it just appeals to me more as an adult today.

I always thought the IFU-30 was the best looking by far. The cover, eject lever, the locking power switch in the front, the way the PCE and CD-ROM2 slide in side by side... It's beautiful in an industrial sense. I read that NEC/Hudson went with a mini-din 8 plug for the controllers because they wanted it to look more like a PC than a game console. I think they completely succeeded with the IFU-30 package - it looks like a machine, not a toy.

yeah I used to think the IFU was looking like the height of technology and don't forget it had the karaoke amp too! great gaming, cd audio AND karaoke that's pretty much all a late 80s playboy would need at his pad, right!? hehe

Well, I'm not so big a fan of the Duos, but I really like the IFU setup, the Supergrafx and the Super CD with Core II.

Im gonna have to go with the PC Engine Duo as well.  I really like the color scheme.  Coming in a close second, would be the Turbo Duo, followed by the white PC Engine/CD briefcase set-up.

PCE Core & CD-ROM IFU30 combo = sexiest thing ever made by humains hand.

standalone I would say the DUO and the LT.

Yeah, I also think the PCE Core + CD-ROM IFU30 is my favorite of the bunch, with the US TurboDuo a close second.  I miss my Duo...

The TG16+ CD-Rom attachment should be worthy of some sort of award...  Maybe a "What were the designer's thinking" award?  It truly is ... unique.
