While far from my favorite console design, I rather like the look of the TurboGrafx-CD. Far more than the IFU setup. The TG-CD looks all burly and robust, like it means business.

If any mod know how to make it a poll, feel free to change it for me. I can't figure it out.

The US turbo duo definitely for me.  Second would be the PCE IFU setup and turbo grafx cd setup.  Supergrafx is by far the ugliest console ever, maybe thats why it didn't take off in Japan.  The profile of the supergrafx is similar to the turbo grafx, I wonder if you can attach the turbo grafx cd to it, any body knows?
Turbo fan since 1991 after owning my first system.

I believe the turbografx cd is interchangable with the pce cdromrom cause I swear I have seen pic of people using a black tgcd with a pce IFU before so if that's correct then yeah you can hook up a tgcd to a SGX with the cdromrom adapter

When I saw pictures of the SGX in EGM bitd I thought it was one of the coolest things my young eyes had ever seen! I still think it's awesome! :)

  Agreed 100%
SignofZeta: What a quintessentially PCEFX thread. Someone complains about nothing, multiple Bible-length posts discussing who's a bigger a$$hole follow. You're both pretty big a$$holes. Let's call it a tie.

If you painted it green and turned it backwards I think the TG-CD would look like a Romulan Warbird.  :P

I just wanted to add that while I love the IFU-30 setup, I think it looks really crappy with a black Coregrafx. You have to go with the original white PCE. Yeah, I realise they sold it with the black Coregrafx, which I never understood. All White is the way to go.

Maybe a Turbo CD and a core?

You know, I was thinking that same thing (because I was freaked out about yellowing). The interface unit itself is still white though....

Somebody needs to take a picture of that though!

A CoreGrafx coloring matches the dark grey and blue lettering on the IFU (linky), but the Turbo-CD is black.

Here's a few pics from Mike (first one) and Hoobs (second two) showing interchangeability and coloring:

Dang. I guess it depends on what you had first and have good memories of. I had my IFU-30 about 2 years before I got my first TG16.

I agree if we're going with the combined consoles.

The coregrafx was definitely designed for the IFU set up, both color and shape, but i can understand why so many people like the all white.

Probably my favorite two

That would be my setup of choice.  But I like all of them.
