IF someone came in here and told us how their house burned down or got nailed by a tornado or something and they lost their whole collection and was looking to buy a cheap Duo to replace their lost one... I'd send that person a free Duo, but this situation, no my charity has limitations.
I lost my whole collection trying to appease a woman... *hint, hint*
Then again, I'm not crying too badly for a free one!
More on topic... these threads are crazy! If it was me that received the Duo, I'd try to see if it was an easy fix first (and NOT try it with a CDR first!). If it was fixed, as it was in this case, AND the promised PS3 was broken, the correct thing to do is EITHER send the Duo back OR acquire another equivalent PS3 (buy new if needed) and send him exactly what he was expecting. Anything else is dead wrong, which is exactly what happened.
The OP seems like a real tool.
