OK, me here plugging away another lame video but this is different. I'm asking the question here has anyone here every played the TG-16 version of Darkwing Duck right to the end? And of course the answer is no cause it's a piece of crap! The game is largely forgotten and for good reason since it's the 'Deep Blue' of action platformers. Anyways here's a video of me playing through the whole damn thing just to torture myself and warn others on the awfulness of this so called game. Let's get dangerous and view at your own risk:

I actually finished it cause I'm a gluten for abuse and I refuse to accept defeat. The graphics, particularly the character sprites look quite good, unfortunately everything else is terrible. I'd also complain with only 4 levels that the game is too short, but in DW's case that's a blessing. It's now sitting on my shelf where it will remain for all eternity.

That was the reason I played through it too, I wanted a challenge eventhough I knew it was terrible.

I tortured myself and beat it a couple winters ago but only cause I actually owned this one as a kid and for some stupid reason that was enough for me to keep at it. I'll still take it over Night Creatures though.

I watched the video to see how you managed the Moliarty stage which was the most annoying for me. I noticed on easy all the pieces are above the pits but on normal there are 2-3 puzzle pieces in the pits that you have to find. You got off easy!

I remember renting Talespin when I was a kid and liking it. I think compared to Darkwing Duck it's decent although maybe nostalgia is softening my opinion. I picked it up for my collection a long time ago but haven't given it another go yet.

It sucks.  I have a name for those that think it's better than Darkwing Duck: wrong!
